William J. Fabbri, LSP

President / Principal Hydrogeologist

Bill Fabbri founded WjF GeoConsultants, Inc. (WjF) in Wilbraham, Massachusetts in 2006.  Bill is President / Principal Hydrogeologist and Licensed Site Professional (LSP) in Massachusetts.  His education includes a B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a M.S. Degree in Geology from the University of Pennsylvania.  Since his first employment opportunity as a field geologist in 1986, Bill gained valuable environmental assessment and remediation experience from key positions with this and several other small consulting firms, advancing his career through positions that included Project Manager and Operations Manager, before becoming part owner in an environmental consulting firm with a former colleague.  Working for smaller firms early on in his career, Fabbri got exposed to a variety of complex sites along with different remediation technologies and approaches.

Bill has more than 35 years of experience in the environmental field conducting and providing oversight of comprehensive hydrogeologic studies, contaminant assessments, and soil and groundwater remedial actions throughout New England and New Jersey.  His technical expertise includes characterization of subsurface contaminant migration, aquifer test analysis and evaluation, and developing cost-effective remedial strategies and solutions that will lead to regulatory closure.  As LSP, Fabbri has successfully achieved regulatory closure at more than 325 sites.

Brian Buchanan

Sr. Field Geologist

Brian has over 20 years of experience in the environmental field completing comprehensive site assessments, soil and groundwater remediation oversight including in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO) / remedial additive applications. His expertise also includes industrial wastewater discharge permit sampling and sanitary landfill monitoring.

Brian provides oversight for subsurface investigations including the drilling of environmental soil borings / monitoring wells and excavation of petroleum-contaminated soils. In addition, Brian is responsible for overseeing industrial wastewater discharge permit sampling and sanitary landfill permit groundwater monitoring, and prepares written reports for state regulatory agencies, documenting completed field activities and response actions.

Kyle Sullivan

Field Engineer

Field Engineer Kyle Sullivan provides environmental field support that includes groundwater gauging and sampling of residential / commercial properties and private and municipal landfills, wastewater treatment sampling, assisting Brian during ISCO / remedial additive applications, and drilling and soil excavation oversight.

Laurie Fabbri and Karen Falk

Administrative and Technical Support Staff

Laurie and Karen make up our administrative and technical support staff that is instrumental to our team’s success, and includes all necessary operational tasks such as contract and project setup, tracking insurance deliverables, managing timesheets and payroll, vendor set up and payment, client communication, human resource support, marketing support, etc.  They also provide duties that aid the technical staff in preparing reports, including AutoCAD, data management, boring log preparation and report preparation and submittals to clients.
